The 2021 Holiday Gift Guide

Here's Our Second Annual "Holiday Gift Guide"!

Once again, we've put together a collection of
cool things we love,
not just because they'll make awesome presents,
but because they're from brands
that resonate with our DNA— "old meets new", NYC roots,
and a fierce commitment to bringing light and happiness into the world!

Take a look!

If you like it, pass it on to a friend,
and let's all give back by helping out small businesses.
This past year has been another tough one,
but we're still thinking positive about what lies ahead!

(ps: We're not making commission on anything...just sharing the love!)
😍

Happy Shopping!

1. Susan Bender New York:  Leather is the foundation of our DNA, so naturally, we are obsessed with these modern but classic, oh-so-wearable leather cardigans and moto jackets made right here in NYC.  They're fabulous pieces of modern luxury that can be worn with everything from jeans to a little black dress—just like our cuffs! 🧥

2. Kim Stadin Fine Art:  Think bold, fun, bright, and happy! Kim Stadin's captivating and colorfully striped paintings are sure to make you smile. These works of art will for sure add positive mojo to your world!  🌈

3. Ben's Garden:  We love everything about this NYC born brand, especially their whimsical designs and awesome quotes artfully handcrafted on fabulous glass and decoupage trays, coasters, and paperweights.  Our favorite (of course!) is the "New York City Girl" glass tray, but truly, there's something for everyone on your list!🗽

4. Marian Paquette:  Handmade, one-of-a-kind, and vintage fabric, these are unique handbags that you won't see everywhere. They're made in California (our west coast happy place) using Italian, Frencb, and Moroccan textiles and perfect for the chic, creative girl in your life. 👛

5. Eleanor Stone NYC:  Of course, we think our vintage meets modern leather wrap cuffs are the ultimate perfect gift. Completely handmade and one-of-a-kind, our cuffs combine old world elegance with modern chic. 🎁

6. Assouline Books:

Big beautiful coffee table books are an easy way to accessorize your home, and we're big fans of Assouline's luxury books because every single one is cool. Their rainbow-colored collection of  travel destination books are among our favorites, but right now we’re feeling particularly partial to "New York by New York" as we celebrate the reopening of the greatest city in the world!  🌆

7. Le Labo:
Le Labo was born out of co-founders Fabrice Penot and Eddie Roschi's desire to be socially and environmentally conscious. Their candles have no preservatives or artificial colors, and the brand is all about handmade luxury.  Le Labo has a cult following for good reason—bring the Santal 26 candle as a hostess gift and we promise, you'll be loved forever! 🕯

8. Lingua Franca:  Another powerhouse luxury brand we love is Lingua Franca. Founder Rachelle Hruska designs gorgeous cashmere, hand-embroidered sweaters, hats, and scarves, and uses them as "a platform to inspire change". Messages like "Climate Feminist", "Hate is a Virus", "Love They Neighbor", and "Families Belong Together" are just a few of our favorites.  👚

9. Hunt Slonem:  Iconic neo-expressionist Hunt Slonem captivates us with his bunnies and butterflies. We've always coveted his work and now he has a "Hop Up Shop" (how cleverly cute!) where you don't have to mortgage your house to own some of his stunning designs. Check it out—from lacquered boxes, to cocktail napkins, to velvet pillows—there are tons of great gift ideas at every price point. 🐰

10. Women's Alzheimer's Movement:  A charity so close to our hearts, WAM is the preeminent Alzheimer's organization focused exclusively on women. Its mission is to raise awareness for this devastating diseases and provide educational tools to help prevent it.  We applaud its founder, Maria Shriver, and her team for their endless dedication and passion, and we pray for treatments and a cure. A donation in a friend or family member's name is an incredibly heartfelt gift. 💜

1. Jonathan Adler:  Make your holiday season groovy! We’re obsessed with the sleek 70’s vibe of these luxe, gem tone acrylic candleholder blocks. ✨

2. Kerri Rosenthal:  What’s better than seeing a smiling happy face with every morning's first cup of coffee? Especially during these “quarantine ground hog day” times!  We just love Kerri's “happy stuff” vibe! 😊

3. Laurie Berg Designs:  Our new favorite accessory: Masks! But these are different. They're actually chic!  And check out her collection of handmade mask chains. Since we've gotta wear them, we might as well look good doing it. This is one gift that for sure will get used! 🎭

4. Sugarboo & Co:  We’re obsessed with this brand because it's all about “putting good things into the world, wherever and whenever possible”.  It’s literally like one big nostalgic and whimsical burst of happiness. Founder Rebecca Puig named the brand after her children’s nicknames, and all of her products are meant to remind us of the ones we love. One of our favorite gifts for kids  (or grownups!) is this rainbow magnetic alphabet letter set, So very retro! 🌈

5. Romi Basha:  A denim jacket, amplified!  We just love the combination of a classic jean jacket, combined with vintage bohemian charm and NYC heritage. The perfect hand made gift for the girl who has everything. 🧥

It’s part of our “Heroes Collection”—a percentage of proceeds will be donated to COVID relief efforts. 🌟

7. Beboe Therapies:  How cool is this? CBD for your skin! Beboe’s High Potency CBD Face Serum helps improve your skin inside and out. It’s not as if we ALL couldn’t use a little CBD these days, but what we love most about this product is its story! Co-founder Scott Campbell created it out of love and appreciation for his grandma. Kind of like an heirloom for your skin. 🌿

8. Harlem Candle Company The Savoy Ballroom was the soul of Harlem, NYC and kept Lenox Avenue jumping for decades. It was a block long, dripping with glittering crystal chandeliers and an elegant marble staircase, and is known for having birthed the Lindy Hop. The history, glamour, and excitement of nights on that iconic dance floor are beautifully reflected in this perfectly balanced scent. 🕯

9. John Derian Company Vintage meets modern, handmade, and created in NYC! A trifecta! That’s why we LOVE everything about these fabulous decoupage handblown glass dome paperweights reimagined from vintage and antique prints.  🌈

10. Polkadot England:  Who says staying at home can’t be comfy and luxurious? This entire line of loungewear is made of soft cotton made in the English countryside outside of London. The fine details and prints—pointelles, florals, lace—are soooo perfectly "old meets new." 🌸

11. Unsweetened New York Any brand committed to empowering women through its statement pieces completely shares our DNA! We love its edgy, cozy and cool designs, and every badass woman with a sense of humor who is juggling and multi-tasking her way through life can easily relate. And bonus: everything is made in NY or LA—our two favorite cities! 👚

12. The George:  Need an escape? It just might be the ultimate gift during these crazy times! Try The George, an antique-meets-modern, boutique hotel in Montclair, New Jersey. Owned by cosmetic superstar Bobbi Brown and her husband, it's a chic historic landmark inn built and designed with cool, modern style. Occupancy is currently limited, and contact free check-in/check-out is being offered to keep guests as safe as possible. 🏠
